Personally, I prefer audio books to the conventional printed books, it's just so much more convenient to listen to a book and have the eyes to do soemthing else. ... and when driving it's defintively safer too ;-). Since I've discovered audio books, I have increased my 'book consumption' - can't really talk about my reading - considerably. Also to have such a large choice that is grwoing every day makes listening to audiobooks fun.

Ehh, I never really had any problems with audiobooks I put on my iPod/iPhone. I just created a smart playlist that played what I was currently listening to. When a track was finished playing, it would remove itself from the list and go to the next one. A bit of a hassle, but not so much as to make me unhappy. It's not like I had to update it every day. It took quite a few days to get through a single book. I had 1 hour round trips per day.

Now I listen to podcasts exclusively. So I just setup a playlist that has what I want to listen to and adjust the order. Then I sync each night and I'm all set.

It would be nice if I didn't have to bring my iPhone/iPod downstairs to sync it. If all I had to do was just plug it in and it would sync to my computer's iTunes, that would be really nice. Ah well, we can dream I guess. :)

Chris Pirillo pointed out that the name iTunes isn't really appropriate anymore. They don't sell just music these days. After June, they will be selling Music, TV shows, Movies, renting Movies, iPod games, and selling iPhone/iPod Touch apps. They really need to come up with a better name.
